Own your crown.

Own your crown.

What crown? Why, the one you were born with. It's invisible. Only because men are not worthy enough to see it ;) . What does it look like? Anything you want it to look like; after all it is your crown.

Throughout this whole week I was busy finishing labs, doing mountains of homework and dealing with the normal female drama and I didn't get the chance to think of what next I wanted to write about on my blog. After some good thought, I decided to share some of my thoughts with you guys on "owning your crown". It's my way of saying the word confidence. Why this topic? This week I was asked how I am such a confident person. Truth is I'm not that confident lol. I go through some tough days, where I am insecure about the stupidest things like my hair or my body. Almost every girl goes through it. Those days where nothing seems to go your way, and it seems like everyone is noticing that you're having an off day. Truth is, those days don't define you. Personally, I have to coach myself throughout the day to keep my confidence level up, but everyone has a different way of reminding themselves that they are a kween. I tell myself that I am valuable, and I have a purpose and special role waiting for me in my future. I tell myself I am responsible for my own happiness, and it doesn't matter what people say, I'm gonna own my crown, and look fabulous while doing it.
See the thing about an invisible crown, is that because men are not worthy enough to see it with the naked eye, they cannot take it away from you; they can never take it away from you. Therefore you and only you have control over that crown and that's the key to confidence - taking control of what's yours and owning it.

Details: Pants - GAP. Tshirt - designed and printed by me. Jacket - originally my moms lol. DIY head dress.

So remember, no one can take it away from you. You're a k w e e n; so own your crown.

Love Kamilah. <3
